Most oils marketed as "Ayurvedic" are cold infusions herbs sitting in oil for a few weeks. Our Luminous oil is made differently.

Using the classical taila paka vidhi a traditional Ayurvedic oil-cooking process that dates back thousands of years a concentrated herbal decoction is cooked directly into a base of cold-pressed sesame and coconut oil over several hours at low heat. As the water slowly evaporates, the medicinal intelligence of every herb transfers permanently into the oil. What remains is not an infusion. It is a transformation.

Manjistha is most revered skin brightener works alongside licorice root, clinically studied for its ability to inhibit melanin production, to visibly reduce hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone over consistent use. Shatavari and ashwagandha nourish and protect skin at the cellular level.

Neem clarifies and tightens. Calendula regenerates.

Rose and vetiver cool and pacify Pitta the dosha most responsible for inflammation, redness, and premature aging in the skin.

It absorbs beautifully into skin because the cooking process changes the oil's affinity for human tissue.
